Grief Group Coming Soon

“Our mourning, our letting ourselves grieve over the loss of loved ones is an expression of our commitment, a form of communication and communion. Knowing this, and processing the courage to claim our grief as an expression of love’s passion does not make the process simple in a culture that would deny us the emotional alchemy of grief.”

- bell hooks, All about love: New Visions

In Spring 2026 I will be starting a group for people processing grief and loss. This group is for people who are grieving significant people in their lives including parents, grandparents, caregivers, friends, partners and siblings. If you’re not sure you fit into this group, please reach out and we can talk more.

Together we will share experiences and process through art, community and ritual. We will also share and build mindfulness skills to accompany you in your grief.

The group will be held every Thursday evening from 5-6:30 pm for 12 weeks. We will meet in my office at 2302 Fillmore Street (and Clay Street). The cost for each session will be $75. Please contact me for more information and to schedule a free 15 minute consultation where we can talk next steps.

“My grief says that I dared to love, that I allowed another to enter the very core of my being and find a home in my heart. Grief is akin to praise; it is how the soul recounts the depth to which someone has touched our lives. To love is to accept the rites of grief.”

- Francis Weller, The Wild Edge of Sorrow: Rituals of Renewal and the Sacred Work of Grief

Please email me if you are interested in joining a twinless twins or womb survivors group in the future. Twinless twins are people who lost their twin or sibling in utero or shortly thereafter. This group will be a space to share experiences and process through art, community and ritual.
